With over 40,000 members, the American Legion Auxiliary is the strong right arm of the American Legion. The Auxiliary was created at the Minneapolis Convention in 1919. Open to wives, daughters, and grand daughters of Legionnaires, the Auxiliary is a major component of the Legion Family.
With programs in education, children, youth and Girls State, the Auxiliary is strongly involved in Minnesota communities. Year after year the Auxiliary provides hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours in our Minnesota communities. (learn more at www.mnala.org)
